Holiday / seasonal buy note
Día de los Muertos (Nov 1–2) is 6 days out, and Thanksgiving (Thu Nov 26) is about four and a half weeks away. Picnics eased again today, which helps late tamale and pozole buyers still filling orders this week, while ribs moved higher. On beef, briskets slipped for barbacoa buyers, but ground beef jumped, so ground programs are worth pricing now rather than waiting. Tenderloins bounced on thin volume after last week's drop; watch whether that holds on heavier trade before locking holiday roast coverage. Turkey isn't in these boxed-beef and pork reports.
